Photo Display Using the Tea Party Kit at Pretty Little Studio!

Recently, my mother-in-law gave me a photo display and I immediately decided to create a set of simple mini layouts to place in it.  The photos are of my daughter Kimberlee and her cousin Matthew.  They are very close in age and love to spend time together.
For the display, I resized and printed the photos on glossy photo paper and then printed a set of digital journaling cards from the Tea Party digital kit at Pretty Little Studio.  I resized the journaling cards to use for mini layouts.  I printed them on Epson Premium Matte Presentation paper and cut them out.  I attached ribbon and the titles I created in Photoshop Elements.   What a cute way to display your photos!  This could also work as a mini album display too!

Think Outside the Box Challenge

For the outside the box inspiration challenge 31at Pretty Little Studio, we had to use the photo below for our inspiration for in creating our project.  I used the photo strip idea to create a strip of photos in my digital layout.   The Tea Party digital kit was perfect for my “Just Because” party photos!  I also incorporated a sticker technique to give my title a white border like the photos.

I have also created 2 quick pages based on the layout above.  One quick page includes the title and the other doesn't include the title.  You can find the download links for these pages below:

Birthday Banner

I just love the bright colors of the Clowning Around digital kit at Pretty Little Studio!  It was perfect for my birthday banner!

I created a set of cards using the background papers from the Clowning Around digital kit. I also created aset of journaling circles to use as embellishments. Iprinted the cards and the journaling circles on Epson Premium Presentation Paper Matte.
The next step was to cut out the pieces and assemble them. I used Thickers black letter stickers,Happy  Birthday, twine, red ribbon, and black ink to ink the edges of the journaling circles.

I just love how this turned out and can’t wait to use it  for my daughter’s 9th birthday!

Pretty LIttle Studio Sketch Challenge 36 - Birthday Girls Digital Layout

I am so excited to share my first project with you that I created for Pretty Little Studio! I created a digital layout and a quick page based on the sketch challenge below.
For this sketch, I decided to insert a photo mat with 3 photos in the center of my layout. Then I added color to my photo mat that coordinated with the Clowning around papers. I really love the Birthday Party Word Flashcards! They are great for creating titles. Be sure to check out the sketch challenge on the Pretty Little Studio blog and see what you can create.

I also created a quick page to share with you. You can download it from the Pretty Little Studio blog at the link below. I hope you enjoy!
